S 1411-4

M 1414-7

An interesting lot of 1411-4 in the 1949 printing MLH plus the 1956 printing used.  The difference is described as the earlier printing having a square patterned screen, while the later printing has a rhombus shaped screen.  Opened for $7.50 and sold for that price.  Scott values M for $7.75 and used for .95, a total of $8.70 for both (Jul 00).
S 1415-9
M 1409-13
Another lot of both the 1949 printing MLH and this time a 1955 printing used (the 1956 rhomboid printing apparently also exists).  Opened for $9 and sold at that price.  Scott values M at $11.95 in both 2000 and 2001, and used at $1.50/$1.65 for 2000/2001, a total of 13.45 (Jul 00).

MNH, opened for $6 and closed with no bids.  Scott values at $7.45 (Jul 01).
S 1438-41 M, opened for $6 and sold for that price.  Scott values at $9 (Sep 00).
S 1443-4 Used, opened for $1.25 and three bidders took up to $3.34.  Scott values at $4.00 (Sep 00).
S 1447-8
M 1459-60
MLH opened for $4 and closed with no bids.  Scott values at $5 (July 00).

Same set, MLH, opened for $3.75 and two bidders took it up to $5.50.  Moral of this story - set your opening/asking price low and you're more likely to sell for higher than if you set your opening price high - I've seen this in many auctions (Aug 00).
