Notes

S 217a (inverted surcharge).  eBay described as VF OG NH.  Presumably Mint.  Opened at $22.50 and sold at that price.  Scott values at $45 (May 00).
S 220a (inverted overprint).  MLH, opened for $17.50 and sold for that price.  Scott values at $25 (Nov 00).
S 222 A Cross-gutter set of four, MNH, opened for $9 and five bidders took up to $20.60.  Scott values each stamp at 70c (Sep 00).
S 222a Inverted overprint.  Used, opened for $15 and closed with no bids.  Scott values at $30 (Nov 00).
S 223 eBay described as MNH.  Opened for $5 and closed with no bids.  Scott values at $10 for 2000 and 2001 (May 00).

A pair, MLH, appear to be from the top left hand corner of the sheet (ie margin on two sides), opened for $6 and sold at that price (Nov 00).

S 224 This was claimed to be a MNH 224 - the imperforate version of Sc 217.  As a 217 it is worth $1.10, as a 224, Scott shows in italics (meaning very rare) as worth $1500.  Margins look adequate so maybe it truly is a 224 rather than a trimmed 217.  Opened for $1 and six bidders took up to $61 - the winner either got a real bargain or a real lemon - I wonder which!  :)  (Jul 01).
S 237a This stamp appeared by mistake in sheets of 237, here is a nice example surrounded by 237 stamps (which are valued by Scott at 20c each).  MNH, opened for $1 and six bidders took up to $14.05.  Scott values at $30 (Jul 01).
S 240 part sheet MNH.  Twelve stamps as shown, imaginatively described as 'two gutter pairs and two blocks of four with sign at the bottom' MNH.  This creative marketing certainly worked, opened for $10 and sold at that price.  Scott values each stamp at 20c MLH or $2.40 for all twelve offered here (Jul 01).
S 241c note
SG 324 note
Eight stamps as shown on the left, MNH, opened for $24 (ie $3 each) and closed with no bids.  Scott refers to this in a note and values at $1 each.  SG refers to this in a note and values at 3.50 (ie about $5.25) each (Aug 00).
S 242-5 A short set.  Described as MNH except for 242 which is extremely lightly hinged.  Opened for $2.50 and three bidders took up to $5.24.  Scott values at $4.10 for MLH (Jul 01).

A set of 242-4 MNH plus also 246 MLH opened for $1 and two bidders took up to $4.25.  Scott values this mix at $6.60 (Aug 01).

S 246-9 A short set.  Used.  Opened for $10 and closed with no bids.  Scott values at $10.50 (Nov 00).
S 248a eBay described as MH.  Opened for $15 and three bidders took it to $20.50.  Scott values at $16 (May 00).
