Used, opened for $3 and four bidders took up to $6.03.  Scott values at $12.25 (Sep 00).

SG 979a

Perfed 12x12 1/2 instead of regular perfing, which Scott suggests to be 12 and SG 12 1/2!  Scott does not refer to this variation, SG does.  MNH, opened for $10 and sold at that price.  Scott prices a regular stamp - MLH - at $2.25.  SG values the regular stamp at 3.50 and this variation at 10 - about US$14.50 (Nov 00).

S 856 eBay MLH opened for $5 and sold for that price.  Scott values at $10 for both 2000 and 2001 (June 00).

Used, opened for $2.25 and four bidders took up to $5.55.  Scott values at $10 (Sep 00).

eBay described as M NG extensive staining on the back opened for $4 and four people bid it up to $11.30.  Scott values at $40 for both 2000 and 2001 catalogs (June 00).
